The AI-based chatbot in the Weidmüller Support Center is online. For questions about products, it draws on knowledge from product manuals and technical data. The AI answers the query directly in the chat and also provides the associated files and links in all languages.
The first version specializes in products from the u-mation and u-software portfolio, including hardware such as the u-remote I/O system, the u-control controllers, the u-view HMI touch panels and the associated software.
This includes the u-OS operating system, the PROCON-WEB web HMI and the ResMa energy management system.
u-OS is the operating system of the Linux-based automation platform with which Weidmüller is represented in the Smart Automation market overview.
Weidmüller intends to gradually support the entire portfolio with the support chatbot.
According to Weidmüller, it is the first company in the industry to offer an AI assistant for customer support without the need to log in.
